Our Lake Michigan salmon fishing season is all wrapped up, the boat is winterized and stored away, and we are already moving on to offseason work in preparation for next year.
Our charter fishing season here in Kewaunee was very successful in 2020! Despite the health crisis brought on by Covid19, we stayed very busy while being very aware of the safety and health of ourselves and our guests. Charter fishing as a small group of friends or family seemed to provide a great alternative to more crowded activities. Many folks took advantage of that opportunity to do something fun outdoors with their close friends or family. We thank all of you who chose to spend your day with Slam Dunk Charters here in Kewaunee on beautiful Lake Michigan.
The fish were biting all season long. We had many great catches both in numbers and in size of fish. The size of the king salmon we are catching seems to have grown bigger each of the last several years. It has been fun hauling in some of these giant fighters!
