Kewaunee, Wisconsin Lake Michigan Charter Fishing Update for March 2020

Spring is on the way here in Kewaunee and it is a matter of time before the waters of Lake Michigan start to warm, and the charter fishing season gets started. With Coronavirus at the center of everyone’s minds at the moment, charter fishing on Lake Michigan with us could be a great alternative to some of larger crowds or places that have been forced to shut down.

Coronavirus and the Safety of Our Charter Fishing Guests

While we are already no strangers to having one of the cleanest vessels in the business, we plan to up our cleanliness game even further. We will pay even greater attention to disinfecting surfaces, cleaning our on-board restrooom, and wiping down our rods, reels, and gear in between charter trips.

The fresh open air of the lake provides a great environment to help keep us safe. With a maximum of 6 guests on board at any time, we are well below the CDC general recommendations of being with groups of 10 or less.

Should I Still Go Fishing Due to Coronavirus Concerns?

Obviously this is a constantly changing situation. However, as of now we plan to be open for business as usual and we look forward to hosting everyone this summer for a fun, memorable, and healthy time out on the water!
