Location:

We are located in the small town of Kewaunee, Wisconsin. Kewaunee is just 20 miles to the East of Green Bay, home of the Green Bay Packers and legendary Lambeau Field. We are a short drive from the major cities of Minneapolis (4.5 hours), Chicago (2.5 hours), and Milwaukee (1.5 hours).

There are grocery options in town as well as several bars and restaurants. We’ll help you find something to your liking! There are several wineries and micro-brews in the area as well. There are also many sight-seeing opportunities. Just ask, and we can help recommend things to do and see after you’re done fishing for the day.

How Our Charters Work:

Our charter fishing season in Kewaunee runs from Memorial Day thru October. The species we target are Chinook (King) Salmon, Coho Salmon, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), and Brown Trout.

Our charters typically leave the dock an hour before sunrise. In the mid-summer months of June and July this means we’re leaving around 4am. This provides us with time to get to the fishing grounds and deploy our gear by sunrise, as the best bite often happens early in the morning. You can expect to meet us at the dock several minutes prior to departure, where we’ll help you board the boat, load any gear you choose to bring (coolers, extra clothing, etc), and we’ll take off from there. Once we’re on the fishing grounds, the captain and first mate will deploy the gear, and it is up to you how involved you’d like to be.

All our fishing is done by trolling. We’ll typically set a spread of about 12 fishing lines. Novices may choose to just kick back and enjoy the sunrise while the crew gets everything ready, whereas more experienced fishermen are more than welcome to learn and do some of the gear setting themselves. When the first fish bites you’ll be the first to the rod to start fighting it!

Once fishing is complete for the day, you can choose to take some photos of your catch if you’d like, then your catch will be filleted on board the boat before returning to the dock. We bulk pack your fillets into large bags and we will supply ice for you to transport them home (please bring a cooler to transport your fish home). If you’re planning to stay several days, we can arrange vacuum sealing and freezing of your fish for you overnight for a small fee.

The Boat:

Our charter boat is a Tiara 2900 Open. With an overall length of 31.5 ft and a 12 ft beam this boat provides comfortable fishing space for fighting and landing your catch. We take pride in a clean and meticulously maintained boat. There is a full private head (restroom) on board for your convenience. We supply all of the fishing rods, reels, tackle, and employ the latest technologies to successfully target those fish.

Fishing Licenses:

Each person on board our charters will need a fishing license. For your convenience, we have a 2-day license for sale on board the boat for a cost of $14 each. Or, if you already carry a full season Wisconsin license (please bring a paper copy along with you), you will just need to add the Great Lakes Stamp. We also have the stamps available for sale on the boat, and they are $10 each.
